NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS(CORONAVIRUS)

UPDATE :3

We are now back to 100% and all of our staff have returned to work. We will continue to monitor the situation and will maintain safe working practices during this period.


UPDATE :2

We now have all of our office staff back and 80% of our electricians have returned to work. We will continue to maintain safe working practices during this period.


UPDATE :1

We have now resumed our testing program for the East Riding Council and sites which are due to be tested will be contacted by one of our test team. We have a risk assessment in place and this can be seen upon request. A copy will also be sent with every booking e-mail.


Wally Mays will be working hard to provide a safe and continuous service for all our customers during this difficult period. Due to the increased concern over Coronavirus we would like to reassure everyone that we are taking measures to ensure the safety of all our staff and customers.


From today(24th March)we have taken the decision to scale back our operations. The office will be open for telephone calls and e-mails as usual but there will only be two members of staff in the building. They are to maintain safe working practice as per Government guidelines. Visitors to the building will be asked to stay away and we will only be accepting essential deliveries.


The majority of the workforce has been stood down and are now at home. We have two electricians working and they are carrying out essential repairs only. We are contracted to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and we need to maintain cover for all of the premises which are still open (offices, depots, care homes, specialist residential homes etc)


We will also be available to our existing customers for any urgent issues. 


this is obviously an ongoing and constantly changing situation for which public health is our primary concern. If you wish to discuss any issues please do not hesitate to contact us.
